If you want to read more, then you need to make it as a priority in your life.  Most of us have 24 hours a day every day. There is no time zone difference. Some know how to use their time better than many others. If you don’t make testing a priority, the rest of this manual won’t help you much.

Make Reading as Your Habit

readingDo not wait for your ‘mood’ to start reading. This fails due to inconsistent motivation. Get used to reading instead. I prefer to wait 60 minutes a day. Originally it was not so easy to do. New habits never are. But if you try to test yourself every day at a certain time, even if you don’t feel like it, it allows you to make a habit. And making a habit could help you do more and do it easily.

Take Your Books With You Everywhere

I highly suggest you start bringing your books everywhere. If you see me, wherever I am, you will probably see me with a book in my hand. It’s because there are always opportunities to read. Take advantage of your time and have a look at your book. Do you have 10 minutes between sessions or between classes? Take your book and look at some pages. If you always have a book with you, you will find that there are many minutes during the day when you can take your book in your hand and learn something. If you read just a little bit and stay there all day long, you will have much more time in a week.

Only Read Books that You Love

Do you know how many times I picked up the book “Thinking Fast and Slow” and tried to look at it? Many times. It’s one of those books I think I want to see, but I couldn’t get past it, no matter how hard I tried. Usually, when I am forced to see a publication because it is considered a classic or a bestseller, I tend to delay the reading.

Whatever the circumstances, it is much better to read the books that interest you than to spend weeks waiting for a publication to arrive as you think you want it to. Start with the books that interest you. This will probably give you more pleasure, and you will benefit from this special experience.

Keep an Ongoing List of Books You Want to Read

I realize that if I do not have a large collection of great books to look at, I do not feel inspired to do so in the book I am reading. Suppose you have an uninterrupted collection of books to look at. In that case, you can always feel invited to take another book instead of falling into a very long period of not reading, hunting or waiting for the next perfect publication.

One book a week, so you can’t be picky about the media you use to watch. As for me, for example, I read real books. I read novels on my cell phone. I read books on the Kindle. And I listen to audiobooks. Especially audiobooks are incredibly important. If you are really in trouble, almost 30% of these people are listening.
